Where is Ski Point in Marilleva 900?

We are in Marilleva 900, right inside the gondola building that gives access to the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta SkiArea. It is a uniquely convenient spot: the ticket office where you collect your ski pass, our hire shop and our heated storage are all in the same place, and it is exactly where the free ski bus from your accommodation drops you off.

Do I need insurance on my equipment?

When you hire any equipment you become responsible for looking after it, and you are of course required to return it in the same condition in which it was handed over to you at the start of the hire period. If the equipment is not returned, for whatever reason, or is returned damaged, all our hires are subject to a charge based on the equipment price list and the terms displayed in the shop.

Insurance is something we care a great deal about, and we offer it in all honesty as a way of skiing with complete peace of mind. For a small amount, based on the category of equipment you have chosen, you are covered for 100% of its value in the event of any breakage or damage, or if your skis are taken or swapped, which normally happens outside mountain huts.

We would like to make clear that in 99% of cases these are mix-ups rather than thefts: measured against the millions of pairs of skis in the resort over a season, actual thefts are a statistically negligible number. In the event of a theft, a report must be filed with the Carabinieri or the police on the slopes.

When and where do I pay?

Our online booking system does not require any payment in advance — we have kept it deliberately simple. You pay in the shop when you arrive to collect your equipment, so you know you are paying for exactly what you take away, even if you change your mind about the kit when you get here.

Can I change my booking in the shop?

Yes. Subject to availability, there is no problem changing, adding or removing items. The equipment you booked is always guaranteed for you.

Can I collect my equipment the day before?

Yes. From 2 pm the day before, you can collect the equipment you have booked, or hire equipment on the spot, and your rental period will only start counting from the following day.

Please note that once you have confirmed your equipment, you will need either to hire one of our heated lockers to store it, or to take it with you to your accommodation for the whole of the hire period.

    What are your opening hours?

We are open from 8 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday, and from 8 am to 6:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with no lunchtime closing. Do give us a ring if you are unsure, as we often stay open later depending on when guests are arriving.

Is the hire equipment always freshly serviced?

Yes. Thanks to our Wintersteiger robot, all our skis are kept properly serviced. And if at any point your skis feel slow or the edges are not gripping as they should, just bring them back and we will service them again free of charge.

Are the helmets and boots sanitised?

Every time helmets and boots come back to us, they are sanitised automatically on our drying racks, which release an alcohol-based, antibacterial and lightly perfumed solution into the warm air used for drying.

    Do you hire out goggles?

Yes, of course. Our goggles come with a soft elasticated cover that protects the lens.
